People around the world are reading aloud today to support the 774
million people worldwide who cannot read or write, by reading for a
collective 774 million minutes. What would you miss most if you could
not read or write?
The global rally shows the world that the right to read and write
belongs to all people and we lend all our voices to the Global Literacy
Movement. Let the children of the world know we believe in the power of words and stories to change their lives.
