Night Owl is not amused by daylight saving time.

Saturday Night: Night Owl would like to know whose idea it was to turn the clocks forward an hour. It doesn't seem like bedtime yet and she's wide awake. Night Owl is not amused by daylight saving time!

Sunday Morning: Eventually, Night Owl falls asleep. Her alarm goes off a few minutes later. She's not ready to wake up, she's very, very tired. Night Owl is still not amused by daylight saving time!

Monday Morning: Happy daylight saving time from Night Owl! To celebrate, she suggests an afternoon nap every day for the next week or so.

  1. Me neither, not too happy. Don't you just wish the time keepers made up their mind and stuck with it? ;=)

  2. Yes! I do wish they would decide on a time and stick with it. :)

  3. The theory is that having more daylight hours in the evening benefits people who want to have after work activities. I think the arrival of summer does that quite nicely without DST, but they won't let me run the world. Things would be simpler and there'd be more naps. Love your owls, especially insomni-owl.

    1. Thanks Joy! You're right, and they should totally let you run the world, or at least let you abolish daylight saving time. ;)

  4. Grumble, bumble, stumble. I am still not adjusted to DST. I hate DST! You cannot save time, we live in the present and then it is gone, moving the clocks forward and backwards does not give us more time. stupid, stupid, grumble, grumble, grumble,

    Nice post!

    1. Exactly! The moving clocks forward thing stinks! I will say I like moving the clocks back, but that's only revenge for moving them forward. Would love if they just stayed the same time!! Can you tell DST is still messing with me? Ugh. o_O

Hope we're both adjusted to the time change soon!
